Products Overview

There are two principle products of the Company: the EFIKA 5200B micro-mainboard on which the EFIKA Open Client is based. The EFIKA Open Client is a network computer based around the EFIKA 5200B micro-motherboard.

EFIKA Open Client is available in 3 basic configurations; Node (for clustering and industrial control applications), Basic (networking booting graphical client with optional Flash storage) and Plus (a full-featured disk workstation).

 

 

The EFIKA 5200B is a performance evaluation board based around the MPC5200 System-on-Chip from Freescale Semiconductor.

The Genesi Firmware enables the vast software resources currently available on the Open Desktop Workstation to be shared with other PowerPC-based platforms. The Genesi Firmware provides a logical extension to the CHRP standard replacing hardware dependent code with API callbacks to an abstraction layer that provides a common interface to operating systems and/or applications as required.
